I believe that therapy is a place where change is truly possible. I see the therapeutic process as one that is collaborative in nature. My role as a therapist is to help support clients to make changes, no matter how big or small. I walk side by side with my clients, providing them with a safe and supportive environment that will foster growth and positive change. These things keep me inspired to continue this work and show up each day for my clients.I have experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of areas. This includes anxiety, depression, anger, substance use, self-esteem concerns, extensive trauma, attachment concerns, parenting issues, and relationship concerns. However, I am especially passionate about working with adolescents who are transitioning into adulthood.In my therapeutic work, I find myself gravitating to modalities that are person-centered and strengths based. I enjoy finding even the smallest strength in a client and working on increasing that over time. I feel that this enhances the therapeutic relationship and provides a safe and non-judgmental place for clients to learn more about themselves.
