I am a registered Occupational Therapist and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. I consider myself to be a patient and caring individual who is highly motivated and committed to empowering others to take control of their lives and be actively involved in their care planning. I currently work for Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust as a band 6 community occupational therapist in later life services. I have experience working in a women's forensic mental health medium/low secure & PICU hospital in which I work closely with people with personality disorders, schizoaffective disorders and attachment disorders. in addition to this, I also have gained on-going experience working with sex workers and vulnerable women in Manchester for a charity called MASH (Manchester Action On Street Health) in which I am also fully trained in needle exchange. I have adopted a non-judgemental approach and applied this through the assessment and use of evidence-based interventions for service users. I am dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
