I maintains a private practice in both Dallas and Austin working with adolescence through adult populations. I work both in intensive psychodynamic psychotherapy as well as marriage and family therapy. My practice also includes forensic psychology. I consult and testify in civil and criminal matters for both the plaintiff/prosecution and defense. I serve as an independent medical evaluator, performing disability evaluations on veterans with disability claims, including mental disability, post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury.In addition to my practice, I have served as President of the following organizations: Texas Psychological Association, Capital Area Psychological Association, Texas Psychological Association's Political Action Committee (PSYPAC), Texas Psychological Corporation, Texas Psychological Foundation, Mental Health America in Texas and Mental Health America/Austin Area.I have served on the Board of Directors of Mental Health America/National. Mental Health America recently awarded me the "Sandy Brandt Volunteer Service Award". I have served on the Boards of Directors of the Menninger Clinic and the Menninger Clinic Foundation of Houston.
