Description

Welcome to my Private Practice! The therapeutic relationship is one that is unlike no other and can heal you from your childhood wounds and guide you to a path of more independence, self knowledge, and ability to live an authentic and real life. Many people seek therapy to develop their true potential and to function at even a higher level. I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and completed a one year course in Jungian Oriented Psychotherapy at the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco in 2022. I am very client-centered and will tailor my methods to your preferences and needs. I am very empathetic and warm and will gently guide you in your progress. My training is as a Psychologist and this was a 5 year post-graduate degree from an APA Accredited graduate program. I offer both in person sessions and telehealth. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples. My couples work uses the Gottman Method along with other theoretical orientations. Please start your healing and self exploration now by contacting me.Message to clientsHello. I welcome you to my practice! I am very client-centered and can tailor the therapy you are desiring to either be short term or more long term depending on the issue presented and the depth you want to go in your journey. I tend to let the client take the lead and listen very empathetically and nonjudgmental. This is an opportunity for you to talk honestly about your life and to have an expert guide you to more deep understanding of yourself and your problems. Most of my clients report that within just a few sessions they feel much better and feel more hopeful about their future. I don't believe that one size fits all and will customize the treatment to your individual needs. If you want a more short term approach, I usually use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) where we examine your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. They are all interrelated. We will find any dysfunctional thoughts and compare them to evidence in your life where we can then reframe them into something more realistic and positive. By doing this repeatedly over several sessions, it impacts the way you feel and can improve your mood.If you want a more long term approach, I use Analytical Psychology that was originally created by C.G. Jung when he departed from Freud's teachings. Jung focused on the path to individuation and realizing the true Self. The goal would be becoming whole again after being cut of from your authentic Self.
