As a relational integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I believe that understanding and valuing relationships – how we are with others, and most importantly, how we are with ourselves – can offer us great insight and understanding of difficult or painful feelings, experiences and core beliefs. Starting therapy can be daunting. I believe that the relationship you create with your therapist should be safe, compassionate and non-judgemental, allowing you to explore areas that might feel painful. My role is to facilitate a relationship based on mutual trust, where we can explore your sense of self, process old and new conflicts, and begin to learn how to manage any difficulties you may have. Perhaps you’re struggling with low self-esteem, low moods, anxiety, or finding that you often put others first; or maybe you’re feeling steady and in a place to explore and learn about yourself. My aim to is empower you to become more self-aware, self-confident and accepting of the unique person you are.
