Working as a healthcare provider in primary care allows me to connect with people and work together to navigate a path to a healthier life. I enjoy building rapport with my patients and seeing them have ownership and pride in their health. The goal of primary care is to serve the whole patient - caring for their ongoing physical and mental health conditions, managing any acute needs they may have, and keeping them up to date on their preventive health screenings and vaccines. Primary care serves as the patient's medical "hub," allowing them to have one place to express concerns and get answers when things get confusing. I live in the Pittsburgh area and love spending time outdoors. When I'm not working I enjoy running, woodworking/rehabing furniture, and spending time with my husband and two little kids.
