Dr Jeffrey Ahmed is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with over 10 years of experience. He completed his medical degree at Imperial College London in 2009 after completing his undergraduate degree in Healthcare Management at Imperial College Business School. He then completed his initial postgraduate training followed by his specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training on the North West London training programme.Dr Ahmed later completed further training with an advanced fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Kings College Hospital. He was appointed as a Consultant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2019 and became Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Cancer in 2020 and service director in 2022.Dr Ahmed has expertise in the treatment and management of fibroids, endometriosis, heavy periods, period pain and polyps. He is extensive expertise in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery, including hysteroscopy and hysterectomy, as well as robotic surgery.Alongside his clinical work, Dr Ahmed presents and lectures widely in his area of expertise and has won several prizes for his work, including the Gold Laparoscopic award in 2019. He also holds professional memberships with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
