Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Occupational Therapy, University of Derby, 2023 Passionate about helping individuals achieve their highest level of independence and well-being through Occupational Therapy. I am a newly qualified Occupational Therapist dedicated to making a positive effect by improving individual's health and wellbeing through enabling participation in occupation (the activities, roles and routines of everyday life). I believe that having excellent communication skills, self-awareness, and the ability to work with a diverse population whilst demonstrating equality and respect are some qualities that I demonstrate. A well-rounded exposure to other skills such as using my own initiative to prioritise case load and displaying excellent teamworking skills has led me to achieving outstanding feedback from educators when being on placement. I adopt a patient-centred approach, tailoring therapy plans to the unique needs and goals of each individual. I am committed to helping clients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
