There comes a time for many of us when we need to seek additional help, even if we have a strong, loving support network. Therapy is different than other types of support. It is goal-directed, and aimed toward self-discovery and accessing your own internal abilities. It is a collaboration between you, the expert on yourself, and a skilled therapist who can assist you in navigating through difficult situations and healing painful parts of yourself. I have significant expertise in treating individuals with infertility and associated treatments; depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship/marriage challenges (including infidelity).My approach is warm, non-judgmental, conversational and empowering. I recognize strengths in all individuals with whom I work and can always find compassion and understanding. It is my heartfelt intent to help my clients also find compassion for themselves, which is an essential first step toward change.Our first session is going to be me asking you a lot of questions, and listening extensively to the ways that you conceptualize the things that are affecting you. I will work to join you in the "language" that you speak and together we will collaborate on some tangible steps to take most immediately, and clarify the work we will do in therapy.
