Jayne obtained her MSN from Drexel University, studying in the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program. She has a wealth of knowledge, having practiced in the mental health field since graduating from Penn State main campus in 2000 with a degree in psychology. Jayne has worked in various settings such as residential facilities for clients with autism, intellectual disabilities and started working as a nurse in 2009 at WPIC on the dual diagnosis unit after graduating from Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing. Mrs. Dalessio also worked on the inpatient unit at Heritage valley Sewickley before returning to WPIC to work in the emergency room for 5 years. Working with AHN for the past 5 years in an outpatient clinic she has experience treating patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar, and OCD as well as substance use disorders and opioid dependence. In her down time Jayne enjoys spending time with her family, two dogs (both labs), and loves reading.
