Mr. Eric Amene is a caring and compassionate adult psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 7 + years of experience in the healthcare industry. He welcomes patients across the lifespan, from infants to seniors at Healing Hands Behavioral Health Services. He is skilled at addressing a wide range of mental health conditions, including Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more. Mr. Amene earned his Associate degree in general studies at Baltimore City Community College before transferring to Bowie State University to earn his bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN). He worked as a mental health nurse in different hospitals, including correctional facilities in the state of Maryland, for several years before moving on to obtain his master’s degree in nursing (MSN) at Walden University to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He is an esteemed member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Mr. Amene enjoys giving back to his community and has served as a volunteer for the March of Dimes.
