My goal is to build strong therapeutic relationships with my clients, grounded in empathy and trust. I am committed to learning each of my client's unique and diverse life stories. My clients rely on me to help "unpack" not only the issues that brought them to therapy, but to better understand how their upbringing, family, and life experiences impact their mental wellbeing. I work with adults, couples, families and adolescents (age 16 and up), who are experiencing depression, anxiety and stress, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, maternal mental health, and relationship conflicts.I work with my clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) exploring the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Additionally, I integrate elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR (for treating trauma), Solution Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method (for couples).Clients can grow and make positive changes when they are given a safe space to comfortably discuss the challenges in their lives. Ultimately, my clients find the change they are seeking when they are able to integrate the skills, insights and coping strategies that we discuss.
