I have over 25 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families providing individual, couples and family therapy in both Philadelphia and San Diego. I managed a school based program in San Diego County for 15 years providing an array of mental health services to children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavior problems. I have also worked as a Medical Social Worker at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego for the past 20 years providing supportive counseling to children and their families during a medical and/or health crisis.I have extensive training in Behavior Modification and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and specialize in working with various disabilities including but not limited to:Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder/Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, trauma and bereavement.I have a passion for working with children and adolescents who have emotional and behavioral challenges and find children to be resilient, intriguing young individuals. I also have extensive background in grief and loss and enjoy working with children and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
