About Me As a counsellor I have a experience of working with young people and adults across a diverse range of life issues. Having been through a journey of counselling myself I have an understanding of being in the clients chair. My work therefore centres around providing a safe, confidential and respectful space for you to feel able to explore the challenges that you are facing. About I work using a "whole-person" approach that focuses on each aspect of being human: mind, body and soul. The work is always designed around your needs and what works best for you. The aim is to empower and support you in your pursuit to resolve the issues you are exploring so that you can move on with your life in a positive and balanced way. About how I Work I use an integrative supportive and non-judgemental approach, responding to what you bring in the moment, as well as holding in mind the narrative of your life. I offer a flexible service to suit your needs, whether this is short term focused work on a particular issue or longer term work. Sessions are for 1 hour on a weekly basis. It is important that you feel empowered throughout the counselling process and to have trust and confidence in your counsellor. Therefore I offer an initial session as an opportunity for us to meet and discuss your needs more fully, and to see if counselling is the right way forward for you.
