As a Senior Occupational Therapist at UHCW NHS Trust, I work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care for patients with complex needs, such as frailty, acute medicine, and discharge planning. I have 6 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a BSc in Occupational Therapy from Coventry University. I am passionate about enhancing the independence and well-being of my patients, as well as supporting their families and carers. I am also a Falls Champion and a Practice Educator, meaning I promote best practice in falls prevention and management, and mentor and supervise students and staff. Additionally, I have experience in service evaluation and care planning, and I am skilled in dementia care. I have a particular interest in Parkinson’s disease, specifically early mobilisation and strategies to promote independent living.
