Today you are one step closer to helping your child and family get back on a positive path to growth and well-being. Life can take many turns and you may find that your child needs extra help dealing with daily struggles. You may notice your child having a harder time in areas that used to be easy for them. You may also notice your child regressing to old ways of coping that you thought they had out grown. Or perhaps there has been a major change or loss in the family, and you are just not sure that your child is processing it well.Children and teens ages 4-16 are my primary focus. The coping skills they gain as a child can pave the way to being a healthy functioning teen and adult. I focus on children with grief and loss issues. These include; death of a loved one, divorce, and trauma.I specialize in using Art Therapy. I use collage, drawings and painting along with teaching relaxation and mindfulness to help my clients. I also use a variety of creative modalities like sand tray, EMDR, and poetry to help children and teens develop insight into problems and gain coping skills.
