I am an integrative transpersonal counsellor, which means I draw together different approaches and consider aspects of ourselves and our experiences, which come from the soul. I do this because I believe that our symptoms, our patterns and confusions may be telling us something very important - and in time, with careful attention those difficulties can become a gateway to more expansive, more meaningful lives. You might be feeling stuck or disconnected, have suffered loss, or bereavement, are experiencing problems in relationships, or have a sense of things just not being ok. Whatever is bringing you to therapy, I create a sensitive, respectful space to explore, to be heard and perhaps at times to be challenged - in order to see things differently. I have a particular interest in the impact of addiction in families; and in understanding the complex grief which can often accompany that experience. I am also interested in the challenges and potentials of the transitional times in life - such as midlife and menopause.
