BSc in Occupational Therapy | Diploma in Health and Social Care My role at NHS wheelchair services involves the completion of comprehensive wheelchair assessments, expert guidance and recommendations, supported by considered experience in mobility, postural care and pressure management, as well as patient equipment need. I provide a holistic approach to mobility, which fits perfectly with the NHS wheelchair service ethos, so that the best outcomes are achieved for clients with disabilities. My previous roles include Band 6 Wheelchair, Mobility and Seating OT for Northamptonshire Millbrook Healthcare Wheelchair Services and a rotational position at NHS Kettering General Hospital, in various departments from the stroke unit and orthopaedics to elderly and frailty.
