Currently working as a Compliance and Enforcement Officer at The Pensions Regulator. I am responsible for undertaking and delivering effective investigations and regulatory outcomes. Providing end to end management of cases, setting case strategies, carrying out investigations, information gathering with a wide range of stakeholders, resolving cases through education and engagement and using enforcement powers. My experience lies in regulation, compliance and investigation within a regulatory background, namely in pensions and now in Environmental Health. At the Pensions Regulator I gained experience at ground level and then worked my way up gaining three promotions in an evolving and changing government agency. I am used to handling and managing my own work load whilst prioritising and planning and I am also a natural team player. I am skilled in delivering within high pressured environments which can be evidenced by my casework when I worked with high profile organisations. I achieve deadlines whilst adding value to management, colleagues and the business. I am skilled at building and maintaining relationships with senior management, colleagues and external stakeholders, evidenced by jointly leading a successful government initiative to improve understanding of pension scheme governance. I am motivated, driven and loyal, I am also an experienced mentor and trainer with an open communication style evidenced by identifying, devising and delivering training on subjects to improve staff knowledge and understanding.
