A South African born and trained occupational therapist with a fierce passion for the occupational therapy profession and the field of mental healthcare. Francesca has experience working in mental health in the private sectors of South Africa and Scotland as well as lecturing occupational group therapy at the University of Pretoria. Francesca completed her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy in 2021 which was focused on qualitatively investigating the stress and burnout experiences of occupational therapists working in the field of mental healthcare. Francesca is currently working at Combat Stress, the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health.
