Training Qualification Exp
My professional education as psychotherapist was undertaken at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy education in London, where I have completed a 5 year postgraduate Diploma and a two year research Master program in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have worked an trained in several organisations and mental health charities and I have been seeing clients in private practice for over 6 years.
I am genuinely interested in helping people achieving their best in every aspect of their life. A meaningful life is indeed a fully lived life and I like helping people seeking their true meaning and purpose in life.
I am also very intrigued by the psyche and body connection. I teach and research immunology and I have a particular interest in immune diseases with a psychological ‘component’ such as endometriosis, infertility, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and Crohn’s disease.
These two seemly divergent paths of training are combined in my current area of research called Affective Immunology (www.affectiveimmunology.com) where I explore the link between emotional states and immunological resilience and wellness.
