Seeking collaboration or opportunities to explore the role of Occupational Therapy with refugees, displaced persons, asylum seekers. Hoping to provide a platform and opportunities for refugees to find and maintain their health and well-being amongst their experience and trauma. To develop a career in human rights as an Occupational Therapist, catalyst for change. I am an Occupational Therapist in Royal Glamorgan Hospital. I have completed my MSc in Occupational Therapy at Cardiff University (2019-2021) with a Merit. Experience: - Band 6 Locum covering acute general medicine, rehabilitation wards, elderly care, thoracic, short stay, including the COVID-19+ wards. - Band 5 in Oxford Hospitals Trust in settings including: Upper/Lower GI (with some support work in Renal, Urology and Transplant wards), HCU Neurosurgery and Acute General Medicine Short Stay Ward. I also have a passion for communication and emotional intelligence, which I believe would create more opportunities for individuals to flourish successfully and maintain overall health and well-being, individually, and in a team setting.
