Dr. Farnaz Gaminchi received her Bachelor degree from University of California at Los Angeles in 1990. She graduated Magna Cum Laude; she then pursued her medical degree in Boston, Tufts School of Medicine. She graduated with Honors and was amongst the top of her class. She received her training in internal medicine from Beth Israel Hospital in New York City and completed her dermatology training at Loma Linda Medical Center. She served as the chief resident in dermatology during her final year. At Loma Linda, she taught undergraduate and graduate classes and participated in the medical center's dermatology research programs. She established her practice in West Hills in March of 2000 and is on staff in West Hills Hospital. She is Board Certified in dermatology and has extensive experience in skin cancer surgery, laser procedures, and cosmetic dermatology. She currently is a member of American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons and is a fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery. Dr Farnaz Gaminchi has won Vitals.com awards for the 2010 Patients’ Choice Award, and recognized as a 2009 Compassionate Doctor. Dr Gaminichi is mother to two beautiful girls, Sofia and Soraya. She enjoys hiking, traveling, running on the beach, and reading.
