- BACP Accredited Member- MSt, University of Oxford- MSc, University College London- Health Insurer RegisteredI help people with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety and relationship problems. In addition to my private practice I also work as a psychodynamic psychotherapist in the NHS. I specialise in Psychodynamic therapy, helping you to explore and make links between past and present, discover what might be going wrong, and gain greater clarity through a deeper understanding of yourself. I provide a non-judgemental, confidential space in which to work.-Psychodynamic Therapy-Psychodynamic therapy is a creative exploration of the unconscious mind, and is more like a journey than a prescriptive tool. The sessions are semi-structured and led by you. The aim is to develop deeper insight and self-understanding, and by doing so transform whatever you are struggling with into meaningful change. This form of therapy is likely to provide benefit to those who are ready to make a long term commitment to themselves. Many people who have tried CBT, or integrative counselling, and have found it hasn't worked for them often do better in psychodynamic therapy.
