"I am a therapist and trainer with Made to Thrive Counseling. I help those who are overwhelmed with worry, struggling with relationships or dealing with a life transition or change (experiencing a loss, starting college, etc.). In many cases, this includes work with individuals, couples or families. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and college-age adults, but happily work with clients of all ages. As a Christian I also enjoy talking through how your current symptoms are related to your faith, as appropriate to each client. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo. At the University at Buffalo, I received my Master’s in Social Work. I obtained my Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW). And now I currently hold my Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in both New York State and Pennsylvania. I am here to be a listening ear and talk through the issues bothering you. However, there also comes a time in the session where we will roll up our sleeves and collaborate to take concrete action towards positive change. This may involve learning about new skill in session. It may mean implementing new skills in between sessions. The goal is to create real change and find your peace.
