Hi, my name is Emma and welcome to my page. Life can bring many challenges, which can often leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, low or anxious. And sometimes we may feel low but be unsure why. Many people seek counselling for a variety of reasons, such as following a bereavement or major life-change, to help them cope with the stresses of everyday life or perhaps wishing to get to know and understand themselves better. It can be difficult to talk to friends or loved ones when we are feeling overwhelmed. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer you my support.Person-Centred counselling is a talking therapy that gives you the space to unravel what is going on for you in a confidential, secure and non-judgemental environment. I passionately believe in the benefits of talking therapy and the improvements it can bring to people’s lives, relationships and to their wellbeing. Exploring our experiences and feelings more fully can lead to greater self-awareness and insight, which in turn can help us to feel and to cope better, and to be more in control of our lives and the path we are taking. I offer 1to1 counselling for adults aged 18+, for a wide range of issues including bereavement and loss, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, women’s issues and living with serious/chronic illness. I am based in Urmston, Greater Manchester, and currently offering in-person therapy.
