Whatever the nature or extent of your difficulties, I offer a safe space where you can talk in confidence and without being judged. I work from a comfortable, quiet consulting room situated very close to Victoria underground and mainline stations.  Attention is given to Covid safety measures. I work from a psychodynamic perspective. This means that I attach importance not only to current experiences and ways of relating, but also to how these may be linked to earlier experiences, and to the unconscious - understanding the underlying nature of the behaviour and feelings which are causing difficulty or distress can help to relieve suffering and open up the possibility for change.The prospect of talking to someone about personal or painful issues may feel daunting. The exploratory consultation(s) can be useful in giving you a sense of whether ongoing sessions may be helpful/appropriate for you.The initial consultation lasts an hour and costs £85. My fee for weekly 50-minute sessions is £85.  If appropriate, I offer reduced-fee sessions to students and those of limited means.
