Good therapy works. However, there are often barriers between you and "good therapy." It's hard to find a therapist that is a match, hard to look at your life with honesty, and hard to work on becoming better. I'm a Psychologist providing therapy to adults and couples. I've worked with a diverse range of clients with all sorts of concerns, taught university courses on counseling, and currently work as a scientist within a digital health company. I know it's hard to find good therapy, but through all of my experiences, I've found one fact that remains consistently clear: good therapy works.I work from an integrative theoretical perspective, which means that I will use a variety of techniques that are tailored to each individual client. As a practicing scientist, I specifically focus on evidence-based techniques. My style is not to stay silent during sessions - I actively work with you to achieve your goals and improve your mental health.I have a specific focus in mindfulness. I have taught many semesters of mindfulness courses and focused my doctoral research on this topic. I currently research digital health interventions, and will often use technology to facilitate therapy in a myriad of ways.
