Dr Dev Shah is Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon currently working for the private practices BMI Bishops Wood Hospital, Spire Bushey Hospital and BMI The Chiltern Hospital. His current NHS post is The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and he has an Honorary Mohs Surgeon post at University College London Hospitals Trust. His specialism is skin cancer and general dermatology. His areas of interest are mole reviews, Mohs surgery, skin surgery, acne, eczema, psoriasis, Basal cell carcinoma and melanoma, mole, lipoma and cyst removal.Dr Shah graduated from The University of Leicester in 2002 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He has completed additional training; he attained a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2005. He is a member of the British Association of Dermatological Surgeons, British Association of Dermatology and General Medical Council.Dr Shah is active in research; he has an interest in how immune cells affect patients with eczema. He is also part of Cardiff Microneedle team and has developed a role for microneedles in treating skin conditions. He regularly teaches sessions at GP surgeries utilising his expert knowledge and has received the Trust Level 2 award for going beyond the care and duties expected of a consultant. He is also a regular spokesperson for the British Association of Dermatologists and British Skin Foundation and has featured on television for his expert opinion.
