Started as basic grade occupational therapist at James Paget University Hospital on rotation. Specialised in neurological conditions, especially stroke and worked on rehabilitation for 3 years. Moved into community working with a view to promoting and enabling patients following discharge with their activities of daily living. The present post has evolved after moving into clusters and we now offer some rehabilitation with generic occupational therapy services
