I have twenty two years experience working as an occupational therapist with adults with complex physical and mental health disabilities having qualified in 1998. I am an expert witness occupational therapist for Bush & Company undertaking care and occupational therapy quantum and liability reports in personal injury and medical negligence claims. I accept instructions on behalf of the Claimant and the Defendant. I have extensive experience working in a social care setting with adults with complex physical disabilities including upper and lower limb injuries, orthopaedic conditions, amputations, neurological conditions, spinal trauma and spinal cord injuries, arthritis, pain, fibromyalgia, dementia and end of life. In May 2016 I started my own occupational therapy consultancy business. I also work as an occupational therapist in the independent workforce team with Essex County Council and assess adults with complex physical disabilities. I am a Regional Assessor for the charity Canine Partners. I have experience in completing assessments of best interest and mental capacity. I am highly organised and passionate about my current roles providing the best possible service and outcome given the current economic climate.
