I have been a Consultant Rheumatologist for 25 years and treat patients with a wide range of joint, bone, muscle and autoimmune problems. Some of the symptoms I see in my patients are shoulder, neck and back pain, joint pain, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia; Lupus / SLE and gout. The treatments I am able to offer may include steroids for Polymyalgia and Giant Cell Arteritis, Methotrexate and 'biologic' treatments for Rheumatoid and Psoriatic Arthritis (such as Humira, Benepali), injections for Tennis Elbow or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Allopurinol for gout, Zoledronic infusions for osteoporosis and Hydroxychloroquine for SLE. I offer 45 minute appointments for an unhurried consultation with plenty of time for questions and discussion. I am readily accessible by email and telephone after the consultation if needed.
