Mr David Griffiths in a senior and well known consultant gynaecologist working both in the NHS and private sector with over 30 years of experience. He completed all his formative training in the Midlands with his first clinical fellowship in reproductive medicine and IVF at St Jamess University Hospital, Leeds. In 1994 he went to Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA after being awarded a Fellowship in Urogynaecology & Pelvic Floor Reconstruction.After completion of his fellowship he studied at the Center for Endometriosis Care, Atlanta, Georgia and worked in New Zealand before returning to the UK to finish his training.Known for his approachable manner and communicative skills Mr Griffiths encourages and values a personal holistic approach to patients gynaecological concerns in a comfortable and relaxed setting.His specialist interests include menstrual disorders, pelvic pain and endometriosis, pelvic floor problems, and urinary incontinence. He is also an accredited British Menopause Society specialist.Mr Griffiths is an expert surgeon and performs over 500 operations a year.
