I currently work as a specialist occupational therapist within eating disorders. I work with the inpatients to prepare and enable them for life back in the community, supporting them to build new skills to manage day to day life without the ED. My back ground is in teaching which I have done in various countries around the world before settling back in the UK to work as an OT again in a variety of roles before specialising in this area. I feel my life experience and individual and group dev. Skills gained through teaching have equipped me well for this specialism.
