Cecilia is passionate about the continued development of innovative information technology solutions to improve patient care outcomes in the current transformation of healthcare. Bringing experience as a nurse executive to information technology earlier in her career, Cecilia continually strives to do meaningful work as we develop the digital transformation roadmap to the future. Cecilia is a graduate of the Robert Wood Johnson Nurse Executive Fellow program in 2012 and holds a DNP with a focus on Informatics from Vanderbilt University in 2014. Her current work as the Chief Information Officer is focused on IT strategies to support the integration and interoperability of clinical data across the health system, development of a data management infrastructure, and standardization of processes to reduce variation in care and improve outcomes. Cecilia is a fellow in both the American Academy of Nursing and the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds several certifications in various professional organizations.
