You can challenge present thoughts, feelings and behavioural patterns and hopefully find a new way of relating that you are more contented with.Over the years my interests in trauma and its impact on client’s life have increased. We now understand better how trauma events (single of multiple) affect not just survivor’s psychological health but their physical wellbeing too. The body can be used as another tool to help healing trauma wounds. For some clients, pandemic has exacerbated past traumatic experienced which client felt they have ‘put away and have dealt with’. For some, pandemic with its alienation, deaths, uncertainties was traumatic in itself. I have undertaken number of courses in this field and have recently completed a post-graduate training in Trauma Therapy.
