Senior Occupational Therapist (OT), HCPC registered. I consider myself as a highly organised, conscientious, reliable, flexible and efficient individual whose thorough approach to duties has yielded excellent results. My varied transferable skills and experience such as : Present experience working as an OT and my previous experience as a High school teacher enabled me to transfer my skills such as planning, grading and adapting lessons according to pupils' cognitive abilities and evaluation. These have enriched my growth in the OT industry, :knowledge in implementing therapeutic interventions, grading and adapting activities to enhance measurable outcomes in varied clientele groups. Training Moving and Handling to a group of 84 staff members in my previous job, enriched my expertise in Moving and Handling techniques, where these skills are compatible with my OT work. My training and experience in Travel and Tourism has influenced my clinical practice as an OT practitioner,making informed decisions to clientele groups in planning,motivating and enabling to engage in social activities of own choice. My excellent communication skills demonstrated that I am able to work autonomously in a professional manner and work collaboratively with other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) team, which has endeavoured me to become a proficient practitioner, working in a person-centred and holistic manner.
