I am a Clinical Academic Research Fellow, currently working 3 days a week in a specialist Community Learning Disabilities Team in Leeds and 2 days a week studying for my PhD at York University. My research interest is around the concept of engagement in meaningful activity for people with learning disabilities. I qualified with my Occupational Therapy degree in 2016 from Sheffield Hallam University, since qualifying I have had a range of articles published regarding the role and value of Occupational Therapy across the numerous settings I have trained/worked in.
