Mr Greenwood trained in medicine at University College London. He completed his early ophthalmic speciality training at the Western Eye Hospital (St Marys) in London and completed a fellowship at St Thomas' Hospital. Mr Greenwood then undertook higher specialist training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, completing a subspeciality fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Moorfields. Mr Greenwood has extensive experience in cataract surgery and refractive lens exchange procedures and uses a wide variety of premium intraocular lenses to achieve the best possible refractive outcome. Mr Greenwood offers astigmatic, multifocal and extended range of vision implants. Mr Greenwood is a consultant at North Hampshire Hospital where he manages a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, including cataract, corneal and anterior segment disease, glaucoma and general ophthalmology. Mr Greenwood performs micro incision sutureless cataract surgery, typically under topical (local) anaesthetic.
