I graduated from Robert Gordon’s University Aberdeen in 1999. My first job was as a locum before starting my first permanent role in stroke rehab in Newcastle. Following this I worked as a locum for about 7 years across the north east in many clinical areas but with a particular focus in Neuro rehabilitation and elderly care. I took 7 years out to have my children and run my own business before going back into OT and working in brain injury rehab in Gateshead for 5 years. I now work in community stroke discharge/rehab in Newcastle, as well as being an associate with the OT Service.
