Some bad things happened and now you feel that you're bad because of them. Furthermore, you're exhausted. You're tired of feeling this way. Does anyone else understand? You turn and look into the mirror and say, "Is there something wrong with me?" There must be, right? Wrong. Navigating the aftermath of trauma is a complex and deeply personal journey, marked by resilience and healing. However, it's also marked by grief. It involves acknowledging the pain, allowing oneself to grieve, and seeking support. My areas of expertise include trauma, substance use, sexual and domestic violence, depression, and anxiety. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and would be happy to explore this option with clients if appropriate.I believe in taking a holistic approach with a client when starting therapy in order to gain a full picture of the difficulties one is experiencing and adapting to a client’s needs and desires as their time in therapy progresses.
