About Alice LawrenceI am a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist working with children, young people and families. My professional journey includes comprehensive training at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic. I have experience working with a range of psychological, behavioural and emotional difficulties. This includes working with trauma. I offer short and long-term interventions to suit the specific needs of the individual or family, and can also support professionals working with children. My work encompasses sessions on a one-to-one basis as well as interventions with families and groups. My practice is multi-modal, informed by a range of therapies including systemic therapy, mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy. I previously trained in France and have a background in art therapy and outdoor play therapy, as well as psychological support for adults following person-centred principles. I tend to integrate my approaches and adapt therapeutic sessions to the unique needs of the child, adolescent, parent/carers or family I am working with.
