There comes a time in our lives where we may feel low/stuck, distressed, anxious, confused or perhaps reached a turning point as a result of a major change, for example, a relationship breakdown, bereavement or redundancy. If you are faced with these or any other similar issues or perhaps the challenge you are dealing with doesn’t match the support levels you may or may not have in your daily life, then counselling could be a place for you to explore your options in an environment that is supportive, accepting and non-judgemental. I am an experienced counsellor working with both adults and young people aged 11 and above across a range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, abuse, PTSD. I will offer you a safe and confidential space in which you can explore your issues. My aim is to help you help yourself; together, we will work on recognising your life patterns of relating and their impact on the circumstances that have brought you to seek counselling. I believe that with this awareness, you can begin to access a wider range of options that will enable you to make appropriate changes. My level of training means that I have gained a depth of reflection and understanding that is evident in my work. As a relational counsellor, I aspire to work with you to create a strong therapeutic relationship which I believe is central to accomplishing your intended goals. I offer a free initial half an hour session without any further commitment for you to see whether you would be comfortable working with me and I can answer any questions you may have.
