As a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, I am committed to assessing and devising care plans and interventions that increase patient’s abilities to carry out meaningful occupations independently and safely, maintaining their quality of life and dignity in a high-pressured environment. I practice evidence-based therapy to ensure that goals and interventions provided follow NICE guidelines within Emergency Medicine and have extensive experience in caseload management, individualised intervention plans and advanced clinical reasoning in high-stress situations with proactive risk taking. I offer expertise in emergency medicine therapy working autonomously amongst a wider multi-disciplinary team to facilitate safe discharges covering a variety of medical conditions including Orthopaedics, amputees, cardiac, gastro, frailty, brain injury, palliative, chronic conditions, and elderly medicines.
