Hello there. My name is Adam. I am a counsellor and psychotherapist. Life can be difficult at times and we may find ourselves unable to cope, feeling that our lives are out of control and therefore not knowing how to deal with distressing emotions.Counselling can offer a safe space where you can explore the reasons behind the way you feel and can give you better insight into who you are as a person. It is quite often that our ways of being and our behavior that were helpful in the past no longer serve us in the present. Through the therapeutic relationship, we can often see different perspectives and are able to understand our relationships with people better. Furthermore with the potential to change the narrative of your life. I have a special interest in neurodiversity and I am currently researching and studying at university to learn more about this subject. . I also have experience of working with autistic adults.I have experience of working with people with addiction issues. It is not so much about the addiction itself but why the addiction?I am a registered  member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
