LaToya Cherry is an Autonomous Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida. She is Double Certified Nationally as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner & a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2006 and her first Master’s Degree in 2010. In 2010 she began her career as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in the Medical, Surgical, and Cardiovascular ICU acute care setting. She also rounds in the local Hospitals and Nursing Homes in the Specialties of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Medicine. Her goal is to continue to raise health awareness & provide education in the community through her work in primary care. She founded CNP, during the time of the pandemic, starting with Mobile IV hydration services, by going to people's homes to provide highly efficient Vitamin & Anti-oxidant IV therapies With 14 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner, LaToya has taken on the initiative to help uplift and educate the community by empowering them with the tools that they need to live a healthier life. In her career, she has led health care educational initiatives to educate other healthcare workers on the care and management of Diabetes, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Hyponatremia, and Sepsis in the acute care setting. LaToya acknowledges that her patients know themselves the best! Patient Empowerment is her primary objective. She encourages provider-patient communication and wants her patients to know that their needs are heard.
