Based on my past experience as a healthcare professional and a Key Account Executive and Manager, I am very interested in key account management preferably but not limited to pharmaceutical companies as it matches well with my prior experiences both in sales and as a trained pharmacist in the United Kingdom and Malaysia. I believe the exposure that I have had so far would be useful to you and your company. In my role as a Key Account Executive for Specialty Care (fertility) in MSD, my chief responsibility was to establish and maintain professional relationships and serve as a spokesperson for a the products. I have managed to cross the bridge between developing and maintaining relationships to managing close interpersonal professional relationships with the KOLs within the industry. As such, the KOLs will be more likely to communicate directly with me and vice versa without as much reservation as they usually do with other sales representatives. I have worked with KOLs on some projects, which shows my ability to establish a partnership with clients within a fairly short timeframe. With Healthcare Professionals starting to recognise the vital role we play, I believe this set of soft skill is an advantage that I have - having dealt with numerous HCPs and having once being a HCP in the span of my career so far. As a pharmacist I am able to easily understand and simplify medical jargon for participants in meetings involving marketing of products that I would have to present to the general public and or a specific audience.
