Dunmanoge ED, Éire / Ireland
As an experienced licensed psychotherapist and certified sandplay therapist I offer long and short-term therapy to children, adults, families and couples. My clinical experience over 20 years of psychotherapeutic practice encompasses working in a range of psychiatric, community-based and social care settings. Being multi-lingual and multi-cultural allows me to value and work with the depth of cultural identity and to understand issues of immigration and adaptation. Warm, engaging, attentive and confident, I priotitize my clients' need to be heard and understood before adding my input. I have also trained other professionals in the areas of child development, loss and bereavement, attachment theory and therapeutic use of play. I am a licensed psychotherapist in the state of New York, member of British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy and approved supervisor of Play Therapy UK. I am also a Teaching Member and Supervisor of Israeli Sandplay Therapy Association and International Society for Sandplay Therapy. I am registered to practice as a psychotherapist and a clinical social worker in Israel. I speak fluently English, Russian and French. My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, which I successfully integrate with systemic, existential and cognitive approaches. My particular interest and integration of Analytical Psychology and Jungian Sandplay offer another important dimension to my practice. I work with a range of mental health disorders and psychological difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, parent-child relational problems, behavioural problems, loss and bereavement, ADHD/ADD, trauma and PTSD, sexual and physical abuse, anger management and family conflict. I routinely integrate non-verbal interventions and therapies, such as sandplay therapy and art work, in my practice. I invite you to visit my website www.valeriagrishko-therapy.com for more information about my work and approach.
