I am a Graduate of the University of York, with a 2:1 in a Psychology integrated Masters. I have a passion for mental health, and my degree has allowed me to explore developmental psychology, alongside a depth of areas within the field and a sound background in statistics. I have experience creating and running research in this area, with my final year project acting as a pilot study into research in sensory processing within Autism Spectrum Condition. I have acted as a mentor for incoming first years at my university college, providing support year round, as well as assisting in the initial transition to university life. I have experience providing around the clock care for young persons while acting as a team lead for NCS. This included two weeks of residential care in two different locations, assisting the young people in organising a charitable fundraiser for Papyrus, as well as accounting for any funds raised. The highlight of this experience was twofold; encouraging reflection and resilience within the young persons, and providing support for those with special educational needs while away from their families. I also hold a level 2 CSIA ski instructing qualification. I am a keen skier and enjoy sharing and teaching my passion to the whole age range of potential skiers.
