A proactive, hard-working, and compassionate professional Occupational Therapist with valuable placement, voluntary, research and account management experience, also skilled working independently or engaging within multidisciplinary teams to assess, monitor and appropriately refer patients, communicating with professionals at all levels to achieve the best outcomes. Experience and skills gained in treating patients with a variety of conditions ranging from physical to mental health conditions. They include patients with neurological conditions such as motor neurone disease, Parkinson disease, Alzheimer’s disease and stroke. Further experience and skills gained working with patients who had complex needs such as end of life, dementia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, compulsive hoarding and other challenging behaviours. This required the process of evaluation and planning to be undertaken for the best suitable treatment for all these patients with a client-centred approach with the overall aim of their discharge, demonstrating empathy and sensitivity. Currently seeking a post in order to make a significant difference to patient experiences, keen on achieving results alongside other NHS, community practitioners, and other outside professionals within the public and private sectors.
